Open House Weekend - Sept 26th & 27th

Since moving up to wine country, I have spent most of time getting to know Healdsburg and have really only visited the neighboring town of Windsor to eat dinner in the Town Green.  So, yesterday seemed like a lovely opportunity to see what their homes were all about.  What I learned from this experience is most of Windsor is set up in subdivisions.  Each subdivision has a handful of various exteriors and the layouts are suited to today's lifestyle; public rooms downstairs and private rooms upstairs.  Most provide a somewhat open concept with easy access to the backyard for outdoor entertaining.  The lots tend to be on the smaller side but you get the added bonus of communal parks and play spaces per each neighborhood.  For those buyers who are looking to get a bit more interior square footage for their money (as compared to Healdsburg) and live in a town with solid public schools and a sweet downtown, Windsor is your place!

Here are the homes I visited...

7606 12th Hole Dr | Windsor | 4 bed/3 bath | 1,919 sq ft | 4,578 sq ft lot | $599,000

209 Maili Ct | Windsor | 3 bed/2.5 bath | 1,999 sq ft | 4,356 sq ft lot | $599,000

9246 Starr Rd | Windsor | 5 bed/3.5 bath | 2,846 sq ft | .37 acre lot | $799,000

After my jaunt through Windsor, I did swing by one home in Healdsburg.  I have included some pictures below.  It is a lovely home with nice light and an easy floorplan.  The exterior is quite charming and includes a front porch and shade tree.  It is worth a look for sure!

117 Ferrero Dr | Healdsburg | 4 bed/3 bath | 2,346 sq ft | 6,808 sq ft lot | $885,000
